Day Visit At Anam Cara

It's possible to arrange to come just for the day to help out on the homestead. Day visits take place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Saturdays are also possible, but we have a slightly different schedule. In return for four to five hours of Karma Yoga work you will share in our morning and afternoon tea snacks, lunch and dinner, plus anything else that may be on the program that day.

This may include Agni Hotra (sunrise and sunset fire ceremony), Sacred Singing, healing Havan, and conversation circles.

Work will often be focused on the garden or animal care. If you have a particular skill that you would like to share with the homestead, we would love to hear about it!

Please aim to arrive between 8.30am and 9am so that you are on time to participate in our morning meeting.

On booking in, make sure to let us know of any dietary requirements or allergies you have, and any limitations regarding types of work. It is always important when coming to work on the homestead that you let us know if something's not working for you, and take personal responsibility for your own health and boundaries.
