Sliding Scale Policy

We offer a sliding scale approach to our suggested donations in order to ensure that experiencing Anam Cara remains possible for all.

The sliding scale offers three suggestions:

 

1. The minimum price covers the basic costs of your visit and is intended for people with limited financial resources. 

2. The middle price covers the costs of your stay and contributes to some of the maintenance costs that are essential to the running of the homestead.

3.  Anything above the middle price contributes to larger projects and also helps support fully funded retreats for those experiencing financial hardship.

You will find three price suggestions attached to all of our offerings - from meals at the homestead, day visits, through to our retreats - reflecting the sliding scale policy. We ask that you feel into your capacity and choose your price accordingly. The three prices are suggestions only, and guests may choose their own amount above the minimum price and beyond.

Residential stays conclude with a process we call 'financial attunement' where you can spend a moment reflecting on your economic capacity and the value of the offering you have received, before paying the balance of your retreat.
